Updates, 6/22/26

* Facebook sucker punched me one last time. It allowed me to set up a new account, this one not tied to previous e-mails or my cell phone. I followed the rules scrupulously. It let me get a false sense of security over 2.5 weeks…and then deleted the new account. Once again, no specific reason given, and no way to dispute it. I’m done with FB. I’m sticking with my website, LinkedIn, Substack, and Instagram. Those will be my social media. Or you can talk to me on the phone, or in person. Remember phones? Remember being in the same room with the person with whom you’re communicating?

* Much Better News: I officially have a commission to write a short-ish piece for solo clarinet and band, to be premiered in May 2027. This is going to be fun!
